Allahumma laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'ala rizqika aftartu
O Allah! I fasted for You, I believed in You, and I break my fast with Your provisions.
Intention for fasting (Niyyah)

Dua for Laylat al-Qadr

Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni
O Allah! You are forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.
Ramadan Guide
Set intentions early
Make niyyah (intention) for fasting the night before. The Prophet ο·Ί said: 'Whoever does not intend to fast before Fajr has no fast.' (Abu Dawud)
Suhoor is a blessing
Never skip the pre-dawn meal. The Prophet ο·Ί said: 'Have Suhoor, for indeed there is a blessing in it.' (Bukhari 1923)
Break fast promptly
The Prophet ο·Ί said: 'The people will remain in good condition as long as they hasten to break the fast.' (Bukhari 1957)
One Juz per day
The Quran has 30 Juz. Reading one per day completes a full Khatm during Ramadan. Start with Al-Fatiha and Al-Baqarah.
Dua at Iftar
The Prophet ο·Ί said: 'Three du'as are not rejected: the one fasting until he breaks it, the just ruler, and the oppressed.' (Tirmidhi 3598)
Stay hydrated
Drink water at Suhoor and Iftar. Avoid caffeinated drinks that dehydrate you. Dates and water are the Sunnah of breaking fast.
Seek Laylat al-Qadr
Search for the Night of Power in the last 10 nights β especially the odd nights (21, 23, 25, 27, 29). It is better than 1,000 months.
Give charity
Zakat al-Fitr is obligatory before Eid prayer. Voluntary charity (sadaqah) is multiplied in Ramadan β even a smile is sadaqah.
β¨ Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Decree)
The Night of Power falls in the last 10 nights of Ramadan. The Prophet ο·Ί said: βSearch for Laylat al-Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan.β (Sahih al-Bukhari 2017). Worship on this single night is better than 1,000 months (Quran 97:3).
